Privacy Policy

This page explains the information Movelle processes to provide accounts, personalized movie features, and notifications.

Information you provide

• Account details such as email address, display name, and username.
• Profile details and a profile image when you choose to add them.
• Movie preferences, watchlists, viewing activity, reactions, and notification choices.
• Support information that you choose to send by email.

How information is used

Movelle uses this information to authenticate your account, operate personalized movie features, synchronize your choices, send notifications you enable, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and meet legal obligations.

Services used by the app

Firebase provides authentication, database, storage, app integrity, and messaging services. Apple, Google, or Facebook process information when you choose their login option. Movie metadata is provided by external catalog services. Those providers apply their own privacy terms.

Passwords and account security

Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication. Movelle does not store password values in Firestore. Social-login passwords remain managed by the selected provider.

Retention and deletion

Account information is retained while your account is active or as needed to operate the service. You can start permanent deletion in the app under Settings → Privacy → Delete Account. See the account deletion page for details.

Your choices

You can change notification and device permissions in iOS Settings, update supported profile information in Movelle, reset a password, or request account deletion. Some records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or law.
